Hey there! I'm here doing my second doll review, the La Dee Da dolls! And this is the BRAND NEW Juicy Crush Sloane doll! She's dressed as a pinapple...lawl. Anyway, onto the review!
This is Sloane! The Juicy Crush dolls are only available in the UK for £12.99 at argos. They do NOT Come with stands or acessories. Their boxes are shaped like Smoothie Cups and are too adorable!
Where a straw WOULD go in a normal Smoothie Cup, this has the name of the doll Line, Juicy Crush.
At the bottom, the name of the doll line, La Dee Da™ and the catchphrase, 'Rowdy Shouty Chic!™' ,huh, kinda cute.
Featured on the straw, which is just a cardboard cut-out stuck on the plastic, is the name of the Character you're purchasing, printed on a cross-section of the fruit they're designed as. Sloane is obviously a pinapple.
The backgrounds of the boxes are designed to make it look like it's all bubbly and fruity, depending on the character and their outfit design. Although as they're only at argos, they have the big fat catalogue number stuck on that is practicaly impossible to get off. Trust me, I tried it with Tylie's box...
You see? in the corner!? It's those stickers than you can either leave or can spend 2 hours peeling tiny 1mm sections off!!! Ugh!
This is Sloane's artwork. D'aww, she's really cute. I love her hair. Aha
On the back shows the other 4 dolls. Argos, who are the only place that currently sell them, get cases of 2 La Dee Da dolls per line per month. These cases are either a case of One Dee & one Tylie, or One Sloane & One Cyanne. I still need to find Cyanne, and I reserved both 2 dolls they had, which would be Cyanne & Sloane, but argos were cheap and messed up my order, they sold my Cyanne. Bitches.
Anyway, on with the doll.
How cute is her face?!
Like the other girls in this line, she has a plastic hair acessory in her hair with something to do with the fruit on it. Dee has a headband with 2 slices of watermelon, Tylie has grapes and Cyanne has some grapefruit glasses, aha!
He hair is VERY yellow, and put up in a pinapple style...clever idea. Basically a ponytail on her head.
Her eyes are dark green with lighter green and brown in them. She has light green eye shadow and her eye makup is in lines to have the texture of a pinapple. Also, if you can see, at the side of her eye is 2 lines at the back to make it look like the Pinapple leaves.
Just so cute!
Her lips are VERY VERY light pink. It's alot more obvious off-camera, but this is the best I could do.
Her dress is mainly Yellow with the pinapple slice tesselation design with one shoulder a sparkly gold with a green silk strap.
Better look at the top of the dress.
Her shoes are small yellow sandals with the pinapple moulded onto the front of the shoes.
Now, with the La Dee Da shoes, you can NOT take the rubber bands off-the shoes will immediately fall off and get lost! They're so small!
These dolls aren't the most posable, no-where near Monster High dolls...
So, that's Sloane as Tropical Twist Pinapple. Overall I think she's very pretty, and very cute. I would highly reccomend her, for sure. But if you're just a doll collector, i'd beware. These dolls DO NOT have stands and as their heads and bodies are huge compared to their little tiny feet they're hard to balance or lean up against something, and they can deffinately NOT stand alone.
The Dee & Tylie reviews are coming soon! Soon hope to add Cyanne to my collection of Juicy Crush La Dee Da™ dolls! Untill then, Buh bye!<3
